We like developing things, whether they be ideas, ways of working, people, partnerships, cultural organisations, or, of course, audiences.
We like to find out how much more can be achieved with what already exists, and if needs be, what changes will make things better.
For more than three decades as an organisation, with a few name changes along the way, Audiences South has been nurtured, supported and housed by Hampshire County Council. We are a not-for-profit local authority business unit. Working across the South, our team brings a fresh approach, backed by over 60 years of hands on cultural sector management experience.
We work with arts organisations, museums, libraries, country parks, local authorities, umbrella organisations, funders, other consultancies and of course the public. Our services help our clients explore ideas, understand their users, and develop their business.
Audiences South is a member of Network – Network's purpose is to increase engagement in culture through the adoption of audience development practice by cultural organisations across the UK.
